Job Description

As a Telecommunications Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining and optimizing telecommunications systems across Cape Town. You will work closely with engineering teams to ensure installations run smoothly and troubleshoot any issues that arise. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in both wired and wireless technologies and possess hands-on experience with telecommunications equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and configure telecommunications infrastructure.
  • Respond to service requests and provide timely solutions.
  • Implement upgrades and modifications to existing systems.
  • Collaborate with vendors to source necessary parts and materials.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Electronics or Telecommunications
  • Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications or Engineering preferred
