Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Chemical Plant Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our Richards Bay facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemical engineering and supervisory experience, ensuring safety and productivity in our processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage the chemical plant's workforce, ensuring proper staffing and training.
• Ensure that all safety protocols and procedures are followed by staff and visitors.
• Review production outputs and implement necessary changes for improvement.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies during inspections.
• Participate in planning and budgeting for operational expenditures.
• Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement throughout the plant.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent experience

Experience

• 5+ years in supervisory roles within chemical manufacturing
