Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate Psychologist based in Cape Town. This role involves working with clients to explore their emotions, provide therapeutic support, and implement evidence-based interventions tailored to individual needs.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct client interviews and assessments to gather relevant information.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions tailored to each client's needs.
  • Record and analyze client behavior and treatment effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with educational institutions and community organizations when necessary.
  • Provide crisis intervention services when appropriate.
  • Offer workshops and support groups to promote mental well-being.
  • Develop educational materials and resources for clients.
  • Participate in community outreach programs to raise mental health awareness.

Requirements

Education
  • PhD in Clinical Psychology
  • Specialization in child psychology is a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years of counseling experience in a clinical setting
