Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Construction Manager to join our team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will oversee construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Your leadership will be key in coordinating teams, managing subcontractors, and liaising with clients. You will play a critical role in driving project success while maintaining our commitment to safety and sustainability.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the construction process to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including architects and engineers.
  • Monitor contractor performance and compliance with contract terms.
  • Prepare estimates and budgets for construction projects.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project.
  • Implement innovative construction techniques to enhance productivity.
  • Identify potential challenges and propose solutions proactively.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and adhere to health and safety regulations.
  • Document all project developments and maintain project files.
  • Supervise project staff and provide guidance to the team.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Construction Management or Civil Engineering
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
