We are on the lookout for a qualified Civil Engineer to join our vibrant team in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will play a key role in the design and execution of various civil projects, from roads to bridges, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of civil projects, ensuring they meet client expectations.
• Review designs for accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Assist in the preparation of tenders and proposals.
• Manage project milestones and deliverables.
• Train and mentor junior staff on engineering practices.
• Liaise with local authorities regarding permits and compliance.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Master's degree in Civil Engineering is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in similar roles

Technical Skills

• Civil 3D
• Environmental Engineering Principles

Soft Skills

• Team Leadership
• Negotiation

Certifications

• SACPCMP registration
• LEED accreditation

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Geotechnical testing: Proficient in conducting geotechnical tests and analysis.
• Knowledge of Pavement design: Understanding of pavement design principles and practices.
