Job Description

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will be responsible for protecting our organization's computer systems and networks by implementing security measures and monitoring for security breaches.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular security assessments and audits.
• Manage and respond to alerts from security monitoring tools.
• Evaluate and recommend security solutions based on industry best practices.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure security considerations are integrated into projects.
• Lead incident response efforts and manage recovery from breaches.
• Ensure proper maintenance of security software and hardware.
• Assist in risk analysis and management processes.
• Provide expert advice on cybersecurity policies and compliance.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Cybersecurity
• Master's degree or additional certifications preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity roles

• CompTIA Security+

Languages

• English: Fluent
