Seating Upholsterer

Job Description

As a Seating Upholsterer, you will be responsible for upholstering and repairing a variety of seating products, including chairs, sofas, and benches. You will work with an array of fabrics and materials to deliver high-quality finishes that meet specific client requirements.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients regarding fabric choices and repair requirements.
• Use upholstery tools and equipment for high-quality finishes.
• Conduct quality control inspections on completed projects.
• Work with design teams to create bespoke upholstery solutions.
• Train junior staff in upholstery techniques and best practices.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification or apprenticeship in upholstery or related field

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in upholstery

Technical Skills

• Upholstery tools proficiency
• Customer service skills

Languages

• English: Fluent
