We are seeking a meticulous Insurance Underwriter to join our Sandton office, who will be responsible for assessing risks and determining coverage options for our diverse client base. In this role, you will analyze insurance applications, interview clients, and collaborate with agents to craft tailored insurance packages. Ideal candidates will have strong interpersonal skills and an in-depth understanding of the insurance market.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate insurance claims and identify potential fraud.
• Provide training and support to junior underwriters.
• Review and process renewals for existing policies.
• Monitor changes in client's risk profiles over time.
• Prepare reports on underwriting activity and trends.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in underwriting or risk analysis
