Job Description

As a Feed Mill Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery that processes raw materials into pet food and animal feed products. This role demands a keen eye for detail and a strong focus on safety.

Responsibilities

• Fluidly operate feed production equipment while monitoring processes.
• Make adjustments to equipment settings based on production needs.
• Conduct thorough inspections of ingredients and finished products.
• Carry out basic maintenance tasks and report any issues to management.
• Generate and maintain detailed production reports.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols at all times.
• Work closely with colleagues to enhance overall production capabilities.
• Engage in stocktaking and inventory duties to ensure efficient workflow.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent
• Relevant technical training in Agriculture or Manufacturing

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or agricultural environment

Technical Skills

• Attention to detail
• Basic mechanical knowledge

Languages

• English: Fluent
