As a Pet Groomer in Port Elizabeth, you will be responsible for providing excellent grooming services to our furry clients. The ideal candidate should have a passion for animals and experience in grooming techniques to ensure a positive experience for pets and their owners.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality grooming services tailored to individual pet needs.
• Build rapport with pets to ensure a stress-free experience.
• Maintain hygiene standards in the grooming facility.
• Work with a team of groomers to deliver outstanding pet care.
• Stay informed about new pet grooming products and techniques.
• Assist with scheduling appointments and customer inquiries.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Veterinary assistant training is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in grooming or pet care

Technical Skills

• Pet Styling
• Grooming Products Knowledge

Soft Skills

• Empathy
• Attention to Detail

Certifications

• Grooming Certification from a recognized institution

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of pet nutrition: Understanding of pet dietary needs and nutrition.
• Customer relationship management experience: Experience in building relationships with pet owners for repeat business.
