Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated pharmacist in Bloemfontein to oversee medication dispensing and patient consultations. Your expertise will help patients navigate their healthcare journey, ensuring they understand their medications and potential side effects while adhering to regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate effectively with patients to educate them about their prescriptions.
  • Support chronic disease management through medication management services.
  • Adhere to safety and sanitation protocols within the pharmacy.
  • Attend pharmacy and healthcare meetings to discuss operational updates.
  • Utilize technology for medication dispensing and patient management.
  • Provide consultations on OTC medications and nutritional supplements.
  • Assist in managing pharmacy budgets and financial tracking.
  • Conduct audits for pharmacy compliance and warehouse inspections.

Requirements

Education
  • PhD in Pharmacy or related field is a plus
  • Advanced training in clinical pharmacy preferred
