DevOps Engineer

Job Description

We're on the lookout for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team in Durban. In this role, you’ll enhance our operations by implementing DevOps practices and tools. Your primary focus will be on improving software deployment pipelines, managing cloud infrastructure, and ensuring the reliability of systems. The ideal candidate should possess a solid background in both software development and systems administration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage CI/CD processes for software releases.
• Provision and manage cloud resources, ensuring optimal performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement improvements.
• Ensure system security by maintaining and implementing best practices.
• Document system architecture, operations, policies, and procedures.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and tools in the DevOps ecosystem.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps or related field

Technical Skills

• AWS
• Docker
• CI/CD Tools

Certifications

• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Kubernetes: Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for orchestration.
