Job Description

As an Aerospace Engineer in Cape Town, you will engage in the full lifecycle of aerospace systems development, from concept to realization. Your expertise in aerospace materials and structural design will be critical in ensuring projects meet stringent engineering and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead design reviews and present findings to engineering teams.
• Research innovative technologies for use in aerospace applications.
• Supervise and mentor junior engineers and interns.
• Ensure all projects are executed within budget and timelines.
• Maintain knowledge of industry trends and technological advancements.
• Contribute to the development of project proposals and concept designs.
• Develop and refine engineering processes for improved efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• Master's degree in a relevant field is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in aerodynamics or propulsion systems

• Catia

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
• Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
