DevOps Engineer

Job Description

We are on the hunt for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our Gqeberha team. In this role, you'll be responsible for automating our deployment processes, managing cloud infrastructure, and ensuring the reliability and performance of our systems. The ideal candidate will have experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and various cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Automate and streamline operations processes within the cloud environment.
• Ensure high availability and performance of applications hosted in the cloud.
• Collaborate with software engineers to integrate DevOps practices.
• Manage infrastructure as code (IaC) deployments using tools like Terraform.
• Implement performance metrics and troubleshooting procedures.
• Conduct routine system checks and audits to enhance security.
• Assist in capacity planning and scaling of infrastructure.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in software development with a strong DevOps background.

Technical Skills

• Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

• Adaptability

Certifications

• Docker Certified Associate

Languages

• English: Fluent
