DevOps Engineer

Job Description

As a Cybersecurity Specialist at CyberSafe Solutions, you will be at the forefront of protecting our clients' digital infrastructure. You will be responsible for identifying vulnerabilities, implementing security measures, and responding to cyber threats.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with engineering to integrate new features into the production environment.
• Conduct system performance assessments and optimizations.
• Maintain documentation related to infrastructure architecture and workflows.
• Provide training and guidance to team members on DevOps practices.
• Participate in incident management and disaster recovery planning.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Master's degree in Software Engineering or a related field is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps and cloud engineering roles

Technical Skills

• Azure or Google Cloud Platform
• Configuration Management (Ansible, Puppet)

Soft Skills

• Critical thinking
• Leadership

Certifications

• Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Familiarity with tools like Terraform for infrastructure management.
• Experience with Agile methodologies: Working knowledge of Agile practices in software development.
