Job Description

We are looking for a proficient Civil Engineer to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in infrastructure design and project management, with a passion for sustainable development. You will play a pivotal role in planning and overseeing engineering projects, ensuring they meet all specifications and are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams in the execution of civil engineering works.
• Review and approve engineering designs and specifications.
• Evaluate contractor proposals and manage procurement processes.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Prepare technical reports and project documentation.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field is preferred

Experience

• 5 years of relevant experience in civil engineering

• Civil 3D
• Microsoft Project

Certifications

• Pr Eng (Professional Engineer) certification
• Green Building Council of South Africa certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
