Interior Designer

Job Description

Seeking a talented Interior Designer to bring creativity and expertise to our projects in Port Elizabeth. You will have the opportunity to craft beautiful interiors, manage client relationships, and coordinate with contractors and vendors to bring your designs to life. Your innovative approach will be key in making a positive impact on our clients’ spaces.

Responsibilities

• Develop and present design concepts and layouts for client approval.
• Collaborate with suppliers and contractors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Conduct site visits to inspect project progress and adherence to designs.
• Prepare project documentation including drawings and specifications.
• Innovate and apply design solutions that enhance spatial functionality.
• Create 3D models and renderings to visualize designs before execution.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role is preferred

Technical Skills

• Project Management Software
• Sustainable Design Principles

Soft Skills

• Negotiation skills
• Time management

Certifications

• LEED Accredited Professional

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Fluency in Afrikaans or Xhosa: Ability to communicate in local languages is advantageous.
