We are seeking a dedicated Biomedical Scientist to contribute to our research team in Stellenbosch. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of laboratory techniques and a passion for advancing medical knowledge. You will be involved in conducting experiments, analyzing data, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement laboratory experiments to test hypotheses.
• Communicate results effectively to the research team and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with external partners on joint research projects.
• Keep abreast of the latest developments in biomedical science.
• Participate in peer reviews for scientific papers and conference presentations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field
• PhD in relevant area preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in medical research or clinical laboratory settings

Certifications

• ISO 15189:2012 Certification

Languages
