Travel Consultant

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a passionate Travel Consultant to join our team in Pretoria. In this role, you will leverage your knowledge of travel destinations and excellent customer service skills to create bespoke travel itineraries that meet our clients’ preferences and budgets. You will play an essential role in ensuring a seamless travel experience, from booking flights to arranging accommodation and tours.

Responsibilities

• Provide top-notch customer service throughout the travel planning process.
• Handle changes and cancellations with empathy and professionalism.
• Maintain a high standard of client communication via phone, email, and in-person meetings.
• Assist clients in obtaining necessary travel documents such as visas and insurance.
• Create and manage itineraries that encompass all elements of a client's trip.
• Work within budgets while delivering memorable travel experiences.
• Promote and sell travel insurance products to clients.
• Foster strong relationships with repeat clients and new prospects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Travel and Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a travel consultant role

• Online Booking Management

Certifications

• Certified Travel Associate (CTA)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

Advantageous

• Fluent in additional languages: Ability to speak additional languages will be an asset.
• Experience with Travel Promotions: Experience in creating and managing travel promotions and packages.
