Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Workers' Compensation Claims Adjuster to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for investigating and processing workers' compensation claims, assessing injuries, and managing settlements, all while ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough investigations into each claim by gathering medical and employment records.
• Assess and document the extent of injuries to determine compensability.
• Negotiate settlement amounts with claimants based on accurate assessments.
• Work alongside other departments to ensure seamless claim processing.
• Prepare detailed reports and maintain organized documentation of claims.
• Communicate effectively with claimants to provide updates and manage expectations.
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements and ethical guidelines in all claims handling.
• Identify trends in claims to support the company's proactive approach to risk management.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Additional certifications in insurance are highly regarded.

Experience

• A minimum of 3 years' experience in claims adjustment or related experience.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite
• Claims management software
