Job Description

As a Structural Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the success of our construction projects in Johannesburg. You will take charge of structural design initiatives, manage site inspections, and ensure all engineering practices comply with Johannesburg’s building codes and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage modifications to existing structures and perform assessments.
• Work closely with architects to align on project goals.
• Evaluate materials and structural integrity on site.
• Provide input for budget decisions based on engineering assessments.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 5-7 years of experience in large scale projects

Technical Skills

• Revit
• Civil 3D

Certifications

• Registered Structural Engineer

Languages

• Afrikaans: Intermediate
