Job Description

We are on the lookout for a dedicated Auditor to join our team in East London. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring financial compliance and accuracy across various client portfolios. You will be responsible for analyzing financial statements, conducting audits, and providing insightful recommendations to enhance financial reporting and practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments and develop audit plans.
• Monitor and review financial transactions for discrepancies.
• Provide training and support to junior audit staff.
• Engage with clients to address inquiries and provide advice.
• Participate in special projects related to finance and compliance.
• Document auditing procedures and maintain records.
• Coordinate with external auditors as necessary.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
• Chartered Accounting qualification is an advantage

Experience

• 4+ years of relevant experience in auditing

Technical Skills

• Audit Software Proficiency
• Tax Compliance

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Previous experience in internal audits: Hands-on experience conducting internal audits for compliance.
