Job Description

We are searching for a Conservation Scientist to lead our environmental initiatives in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will monitor ecosystems, conduct research, and drive conservation projects aimed at promoting sustainable practices.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and evaluate conservation programs.
  • Serve as a liaison between community stakeholders and project teams.
  • Utilize GIS technology for environmental mapping and analysis.
  • Conduct literature reviews to stay updated on conservation practices.
  • Prepare funding proposals to support conservation initiatives.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, or a related field
  • Master's degree preferred
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in conservation or environmental management
