We are seeking a Technical Support Specialist to join our dynamic IT support team in Johannesburg. This role involves providing technical support to users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring smooth IT operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology and a knack for solving complex problems. Strong communication skills and the ability to work under pressure are essential.

Responsibilities

• Respond to IT support requests via phone, email, and in-person.
• Conduct regular maintenance checks on IT systems and equipment.
• Coordinate with external vendors for hardware repairs and upgrades.
• Manage inventory of IT equipment and software licenses.
• Provide input for improving IT processes and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with organizational IT policies and security standards.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Additional IT certifications are a plus

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a technical support or IT helpdesk role
