Job Description

As a Chemical Engineer, you will be responsible for developing processes for large-scale manufacturing, designing chemical plant equipment, and overseeing the production process. You will work closely with production teams to improve efficiency and implement new technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed environmental reviews and suggest improvements.
  • Work closely with project managers to integrate environmental considerations into designs.
  • Track and report on compliance with environmental permits.
  • Facilitate workshops and presentations on sustainability initiatives within the company.
  • Collaborate with local communities to address environmental challenges.
  • Support procurement and supplier management with sustainability criteria.
  • Assist in the development of proposals for environmental projects.
  • Contribute to research and development initiatives aimed at sustainability.
  • Provide guidance on waste reduction and resource conservation methods.
  • Monitor and report on progress towards sustainability goals.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or similar
  • Master's degree in Environmental Engineering preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in environmental consulting or engineering
