Environmental Engineer

Job Description

As a Chemical Engineer, you will be responsible for developing processes for large-scale manufacturing, designing chemical plant equipment, and overseeing the production process. You will work closely with production teams to improve efficiency and implement new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the environmental assessment process and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Analyze the ecological impact of company operations and suggest actionable solutions.
• Develop and implement training and awareness programs on environmental policies.
• Coordinate with regulatory bodies to facilitate project approvals.
• Review and comment on project designs from an environmental perspective.
• Manage environmental documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Assist in audits and inspections to assess environmental practices.
• Contribute to sustainability reporting and strategy development.
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement and communication on environmental matters.
• Research new technologies and methodologies related to environmental protection.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or similar
• Master's degree in Environmental Engineering preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in environmental consulting or engineering
