Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Financial Planner to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will deliver personalized financial advice and assistance to clients, helping them build and manage their wealth effectively. You will assess clients’ financial situations, develop comprehensive financial plans, and provide ongoing support to ensure they reach their financial objectives.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients' risk tolerance and investment preferences.
• Recommend appropriate investment products and strategies.
• Provide training and support to junior staff as needed.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Organize and lead client workshops and seminars.
• Maintain comprehensive records of client interactions and transactions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
• Master's degree in Finance is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in wealth management or financial advisory

Technical Skills

• Risk Management
• Portfolio Management

Soft Skills

• Negotiation Skills
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Certified Financial Planner (CFP)
• Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Proficient in financial planning software: Experience with software applications used in financial planning.
• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans: Ability to communicate in both English and Afrikaans is a plus.
