Clinical Psychologist

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Clinical Psychologist to enhance our mental health team in Port Elizabeth. In this position, you'll be responsible for conducting assessments, providing therapeutic interventions, and collaborating with other health professionals to ensure holistic care for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments including diagnostics.
• Design and implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
• Evaluate and document client progress regularly.
• Consult with family members to enhance treatment outcomes.
• Engage in continuous professional development and training.
• Support community mental health initiatives and events.
• Actively participate in supervision and professional peer consultation.

Requirements

Education

• Doctorate in Psychology (preferred)
• HPCSA Registration

Experience

• 5+ years in clinical psychology and psychotherapeutic practice

• Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

Certifications

• Qualified Clinical Psychologist
• Trauma-Informed Care Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
