Electrical Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will work on diverse projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial electrical systems. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical design principles and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Experience in renewable energy sources and energy efficiency systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed design drawings using CAD software.
• Ensure quality control and assurance during all project phases.
• Conduct testing and validation of electrical systems.
• Resolve any unexpected site challenges that arise during project execution.
• Liaise with local authorities regarding permits and regulations.
• Monitor project progress and report on key milestones.
• Provide post-installation support and maintenance recommendations.
• Work closely with other disciplines such as civil, mechanical, and environmental engineering to ensure integrated solutions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or similar field

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience
