UI/UX Designer

Job Description

We are looking for a talented UI/UX Designer to join our innovative team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a passion for user-centered design, a strong portfolio showcasing their work, and the ability to collaborate with developers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead design projects from concept to completion while ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Work collaboratively across teams to define and implement user experience strategies.
• Analyze user data to inform design improvements and adjustments.
• Design and conduct workshops to engage stakeholders in the design process.
• Mentor junior designers and provide feedback on their work.
• Document design processes and rationale to facilitate team communication.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or related field
• A Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design

Technical Skills

• HTML/CSS
• JavaScript
• Responsive Design

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Team Collaboration

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with User Testing and Analysis: Ability to conduct and analyze user testing sessions.
• Knowledge of Accessibility Standards (WCAG): Understanding and applying web accessibility standards in design.
