Job Description

The Company Blasting Miner will be responsible for conducting blasting operations safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with company standards and protocols. The role requires immense attention to safety protocols and operational guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of blasting operations and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Train and guide new team members on safety protocols and operational procedures.
• Conduct routine safety audits to ensure compliance with legal and company standards.
• Collaborate with geologists to determine optimal blasting locations.
• Assist in inventory management of explosives and blasting materials.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 certificate
• Blaster's Certificate of Competency

Experience

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in blasting operations

Technical Skills

• Blasting Equipment Proficiency
• Safety Compliance Knowledge

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail
• Team Collaboration

Advantageous

• Experience with Electronic Detonators: Familiarity with the use of electronic detonators is an advantage.
• Underground Mining Experience: Previous experience working in underground mining operations.
