Responsibilities

• Creating and pitching new show concepts and outlines.
• Collaborating with other writers to enhance script quality.
• Editing and revising scripts based on feedback from producers.
• Staying informed on industry trends and audience preferences.
• Participating in brainstorming sessions to develop new ideas.
• Conducting research to ensure accuracy in scripts.
• Assisting with casting and production meetings when required.
• Building and maintaining a network within the industry.
• Participating in community outreach events related to television.
• Ensuring that scripts are formatted correctly using industry-standard software.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant qualification in Creative Writing or Filmmaking preferred

Experience

• Experience working on successful television shows or series.
