Job Description

As a Veterinarian at Animal Care Associates, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent medical care to a variety of animals. You will conduct examinations, diagnose illnesses, perform surgeries, and discuss treatment options with clients to ensure the health and well-being of their furry companions.

Responsibilities

  • Administer medications and monitor animal recovery post-surgery.
  • Consult with specialists for advanced diagnostic and treatment options.
  • Maintain stock of medical supplies and vaccines.
  • Conduct emergency care for severely injured or ill animals.
  • Organize and participate in vaccination drives and health camps.
  • Research case studies and provide insights for quality improvement.
  • Liaise with pet owners to schedule follow-up appointments.
  • Attend relevant workshops and educational sessions.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) or equivalent degree
  • Postgraduate qualification in Veterinary Medicine is advantageous

  • 3+ years of diverse veterinary experience
