Responsibilities

• Manage and analyze freight operations to enhance supply chain efficiency.
• Evaluate transportation options and make recommendations based on cost and efficiency.
• Implement strategies to reduce freight costs while maintaining service quality.
• Collaborate with the procurement team to coordinate logistics for inbound shipments.
• Provide logistical support for project management and special projects.
• Assist in developing logistics policies and procedures.
• Track shipments and resolve any issues related to delivery.
• Utilize logistics software to manage shipments and track costs.
• Participate in team meetings to share insights and strategies for improvement.
• Create and maintain documentation of shipping and receiving processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in the logistics industry

Technical Skills

• SAP
• Transportation Management Systems (TMS)

Soft Skills

• Analytical Thinking
• Negotiation

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational
