Network Security Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a Network Security Engineer to join our vibrant team in Bloemfontein. You will be responsible for implementing and overseeing security measures to protect our network and user data. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in network security technologies and practices.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with security policies and regulations.
• Evaluate and upgrade security systems as necessary.
• Coordinate with external vendors for security assessments.
• Implement multi-factor authentication and other security technologies.
• Analyze and mitigate potential vulnerabilities.
• Engage in continuous monitoring of critical systems.
• Collaborate on incident response and strategy development.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security or related field
• Professional certifications in security (CISSP, CEH) preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles specifically in network security

• Firewall Management
• Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)
• Incident Response

Certifications

• Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
• CompTIA Security+

Languages

• English: Fluent
