We are seeking a qualified Dentist to join our dedicated team in Bloemfontein. This role involves diagnosing and treating dental conditions, performing dental procedures, and providing preventive care to patients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for oral health and the ability to communicate effectively with patients.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose dental disorders.
• Perform restorative and preventive dental services.
• Maintain a sterile and safe working environment.
• Counsel patients regarding dental hygiene and care.
• Communicate effectively with patients regarding their treatment choices.
• Assist in the training of new dental staff.
• Contribute to the development of office protocols.
• Monitor and ensure patient satisfaction.
• Participate in regular staff meetings.

Requirements

Education

• Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD)
• Registered Dental Practitioner

Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in a dental setting

Technical Skills

• Cosmetic Dentistry
• Geriatric Dentistry

• Interpersonal Skills
• Detail-oriented

Certifications

• Infection Control Certification
• Sedation License

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Conversational

Advantageous

• Knowledge of Practice Management Software: Familiarity with software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft for efficient practice management.
• Ability to Perform Orthodontic Procedures: Experience in aligning teeth and jaws through orthodontics.
