We are seeking a talented Architect to join our prestigious firm in Pretoria. This role requires a combination of design innovation and practical implementation. The ideal candidate will have experience in project management, be effective in coordination with engineering teams, and possess a strong portfolio of completed work. You will be instrumental in shaping our portfolio and enhancing the architectural landscape of the region.

Responsibilities

• Lead project design sessions and create detailed construction documents.
• Assess environmental impacts of designs and advocate for sustainable practices.
• Develop relationships with clients and stakeholders for successful engagement.
• Monitor project budgets and timelines, ensuring fiscal responsibility.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior architects.
• Prepare reports and documentation for regulatory compliance.
• Execute design iterations based on client feedback.
• Participate in community engagement and outreach initiatives regarding projects.
• Review and approve material and equipment selections.
• Perform field inspections to ensure design meets quality standards.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or equivalent
• Master's degree in Urban Design is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years in architectural design and project leadership

• Building Information Modeling (BIM)
