Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated pharmacist to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will ensure optimal pharmaceutical care through patient consultations, medication management, and adherence to pharmacy laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and evaluate medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness.
• Implement quality assurance measures to enhance patient safety.
• Contribute to the development of pharmacy services and policies.
• Foster relationships with patients and the community to promote health.
• Participate in continuing education to stay current with industry developments.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a retail pharmacy setting

Technical Skills

• Medication Therapy Management
• Disease Management

Soft Skills

• Empathy

Certifications

• Certified Immunizer

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans: Fluency in both languages is a plus for patient interaction.
