Architecture Technician

Job Description

As an Architecture Technician at our firm, you will engage in the entire design process, from conceptualizing ideas to delivering detailed construction documents. Collaborating with architects and other project stakeholders, you will be responsible for creating drawings that accurately reflect the design intent and function of our projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed architectural drawings using CAD software.
• Collaborate with a team to enhance design solutions for functionality and aesthetics.
• Ensure that all drawings comply with relevant codes and best practices.
• Participate in construction site inspections to ensure design adherence.
• Assist in the resolution of any design-related issues that arise during construction.
• Prepare accurate documentation and reports related to project status.
• Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to gather feedback.
• Foster a creative and productive work environment for the architectural team.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Architecture or equivalent qualification

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a similar role

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• Revit
• SketchUp

Soft Skills

• Detail-oriented
• Communication

Advantageous

• Experience with sustainable design practices: Familiarity with green building certifications and sustainable architecture.
