We're on the lookout for a Cybersecurity Consultant to join our vibrant team in Port Elizabeth. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for safeguarding information systems and enhancing our cybersecurity posture. The successful candidate will work closely with various teams to identify vulnerabilities and implement effective security measures.

Responsibilities

• Architect and manage cloud environments to support application deployment.
• Support development teams in the use of DevOps tools and best practices.
• Identify bottlenecks in existing processes and propose solutions.
• Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with industry trends.
• Facilitate post-incident reviews to develop lessons learned.
• Mentor junior team members and promote knowledge sharing.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in a related field is preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology required

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a DevOps role

Technical Skills

• Azure or GCP
• CI/CD Tools

Soft Skills

• Time Management

Certifications

• Google Professional Cloud Architect
• DevOps Foundation Certificate

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in Agile methodologies: Understanding of Agile principles and experience working in an Agile environment.
• Knowledge of security best practices: Familiarity with securing cloud resources and applications.
