Prepress Technician

Job Description

As a Prepress Technician, you will be responsible for preparing printing plates and managing the prepress workflow to ensure the highest quality output. You will collaborate with designers and operators to troubleshoot issues and maintain production timelines.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain printing plates with precision.
• Collaborate with graphic designers to interpret specifications.
• Regularly check and adjust printing processes for optimal results.
• Assist in troubleshooting any technical issues that arise during printing.
• Keep detailed logs of production metrics and machine downtime.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations within the printing environment.
• Proactively suggest improvements to the prepress workflow for efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant qualification in Printing Technology or Graphic Design

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in a prepress role

• CorelDRAW

Languages

• English: Fluent
