Job Description

We are seeking a talented Interior Designer to join our dynamic team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design, a keen eye for aesthetics, and the ability to execute projects from concept to completion. You will collaborate with clients to create stunning interiors that reflect their vision while ensuring functionality and style.

Responsibilities

• Research and source new design materials and products.
• Create 3D visualizations and prototypes as needed.
• Organize and lead design meetings with clients and project teams.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope and budget.
• Advise clients on emerging trends in interior design.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in interior design

Technical Skills

• 3D Visualization Software
• Project Management Software

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail
• Interpersonal Skills

Certifications

• Certified Interior Designer (CID)
• WELL Accredited Professional

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of smart home technology: Experience in integrating technology into residential design.
• Experience in commercial design projects: Familiarity with designing for commercial spaces in addition to residential.
