Responsibilities

• Diagnose dental diseases and provide appropriate treatments.
• Assist patients with treatment planning and aftercare.
• Perform a variety of dental procedures including extractions and fillings.
• Conduct regular reviews of patient health and treatment outcomes.
• Utilize dental technologies effectively during patient care.
• Work collaboratively with the dental team to improve service delivery.
• Deliver exceptional patient care with a focus on comfort and safety.
• Promote the practice through patient education and engagement.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Dentistry (BChD) or equivalent
• Postgraduate qualifications in Orthodontics or Aesthetic Dentistry is a plus

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in a dental practice

Technical Skills

• Oral Surgery
• Endodontics

Soft Skills

• Team Leadership
• Conflict Resolution

Certifications

• Registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

• Experience in paediatric dentistry: Experience working with children in a dental setting.
• Membership in professional dental associations: Active member of organized dentistry groups.
