Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support our educational team in Durban. The ideal candidate will assist in daily classroom activities, helping to create a positive learning environment. This role involves working closely with educators to ensure students receive the guidance and assistance they need to thrive academically.

Responsibilities

  • Support classroom instruction by preparing resources and technology.
  • Monitor student behavior and promote positive conduct.
  • Assist in conducting assessments and tracking student performance.
  • Promote a diverse and inclusive classroom culture.
  • Facilitate communication between students, teachers, and parents.
  • Aid in resolving conflicts and promoting teamwork among students.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's in Education, Psychology, or related field
  • Honours degree is preferred
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in classroom support or teaching
