As a Refuse and Recyclable Material Collector, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness in designated areas. This physically demanding role involves operating heavy machinery, driving collection trucks, and ensuring efficient waste disposal practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily collection tasks as scheduled, ensuring timely disposal of waste.
• Drive collection vehicles safely along designated routes, following traffic laws.
• Assist with sorting recyclable materials and educating the public on recycling practices.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on collection equipment.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize collection efficiency.
• Keep accurate records of collected materials and report discrepancies.
• Adhere to company policies regarding workplace safety and environmental practices.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 10-12 or equivalent

Experience

• Experience in a team environment preferred.
