Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Financial Analyst to join our team in Cape Town. This role involves preparing and analysing financial reports, supporting business decisions through data-driven insights, and enhancing our financial strategy.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial reporting and analysis, ensuring timely delivery of insightful reports.
• Conduct variance analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Develop financial models to support strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather and analyse data for financial planning.
• Prepare presentations for senior management on financial performance.
• Monitor industry trends to guide financial forecasting and decision-making.
• Provide training and guidance to junior finance staff where necessary.
• Assist with any ad hoc financial analysis as required.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and risk management policies.
• Prepare and maintain financial documentation for external auditors.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Economics or Business Administration
• MBA would be an asset

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in a financial analyst role
