As a Data Analyst in our Pretoria office, you will play a pivotal role in informing our business decisions through data analysis. We’re looking for someone with a strong analytical background who can bring clarity and insight from data sets to improve our organizational effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Examine and clean data to ensure quality prior to analysis.
• Utilize statistical methods to solve specific business problems.
• Create visualizations to communicate findings effectively.
• Work with cross-functional teams to integrate data solutions.
• Mentor junior analysts on best practices and tools.
• Enhance existing data collection and analysis processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field
• Postgraduate qualification is a plus

Experience

• 4-6 years of relevant experience in data analysis or business intelligence

Technical Skills

• SQL
• Python
• R
• Data Visualization Tools

Soft Skills

• Critical thinking
• Presentation skills

Certifications

• SAS Certified Data Scientist
• Tableau Desktop Specialist

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in financial data analysis: Understanding of financial metrics and KPIs.
