Technical Writer

Job Description

Join our team as a Technical Writer, where you'll work closely with engineers and product managers to produce comprehensive user manuals, help guides, and API documentation that improve the user experience across our platform.

Responsibilities

• Develop user guides, FAQs, and knowledge base articles.
• Conduct interviews with subject matter experts to capture necessary information.
• Facilitate workshops to engage users and collect feedback on documentation.
• Assist in maintaining the company’s online documentation portal.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication or a related field
• Certification in UX Writing or similar is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of professional experience in documentation or content writing

Technical Skills

• Content Management Systems (CMS)
• Graphic Design Software

Soft Skills

• Time Management
• Critical Thinking

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Multilingual Proficiency: Ability to write in both English and Afrikaans or other local languages is a plus.
• Familiarity with Machine Learning concepts: An understanding of ML concepts to help document related features.
