UX Designer

Job Description

We are on the hunt for a passionate UX Designer to join our collaborative team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring our digital products meet user needs by conducting research, creating wireframes, and designing prototypes. You will work closely with product managers and developers to translate ideas into user-friendly designs that not only look appealing but also deliver compelling user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Translate complex concepts into a simple and engaging user experience.
• Engage in cross-functional collaboration to align development with design.
• Capture user feedback through interviews and surveys for continuous improvement.
• Create and maintain a design system for consistent product design.
• Document the design process and deliverables for future reference.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in HCI or related discipline
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 4+ years in UX design with a portfolio showcasing relevant projects

• Usability Testing

Certifications

• Interaction Design Foundation Certification
• Nielsen Norman Group UX Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with Content Management Systems: Experience working with platforms like WordPress or similar.
