UX Designer

Job Description

We are on the hunt for a passionate UX Designer to join our collaborative team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring our digital products meet user needs by conducting research, creating wireframes, and designing prototypes. You will work closely with product managers and developers to translate ideas into user-friendly designs that not only look appealing but also deliver compelling user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Conduct user research to gather insights and validate design concepts.
• Create user personas, journey maps, and wireframes to enhance user experience.
• Develop interactive prototypes for user testing and feedback.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to implement innovative design solutions.
• Perform usability testing to refine design and improve user interaction.
• Stay updated with current design trends and incorporate them into your work.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in HCI or related discipline
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 4+ years in UX design with a portfolio showcasing relevant projects
