We are seeking a passionate Environmental Engineer to join our team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing environmental projects that aim to mitigate the adverse effects of human activities on the environment. This role will involve assessing environmental impact, ensuring compliance with regulations, and collaborating with various stakeholders to promote sustainable practices.

Responsibilities

• Research and implement best practices in environmental engineering.
• Assist in the development of sustainability initiatives.
• Evaluate project impacts and recommend corrective actions.
• Stay updated on environmental legislation and trends.
• Facilitate training workshops on environmental awareness.
• Support project managers in integrating environmental considerations.
• Coordinate with environmental consultants as necessary.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Master's degree in Environmental Engineering preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in environmental consulting or engineering
