Job Description

As an Event Planner with Event Horizon, you will play a pivotal role in bringing our clients' visions to life. You will collaborate with clients to conceptualize, plan, and execute all aspects of events, ensuring every detail is perfectly orchestrated. This role requires a keen eye for detail, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure to deliver memorable events.

Responsibilities

• Manage logistics from planning through to execution of all events.
• Prepare on-site reports and ensure all aspects of the event align with client expectations.
• Handle budgets and finances related to each event for profitability.
• Provide excellent customer service, addressing client and guest inquiries promptly.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Event Management or related field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in event planning or management roles

Certifications

• Certified Special Events Professional (CSEP)
• Event Management Certificate

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

• Previous experience in hospitality: Background in hospitality can be helpful for client interactions and event management.
